This beachfront hotel boasts a long private beach. All rooms offer views of the sea, beach, and surrounding mountains. The rooms are clean, although old, and still maintain a fresh, clean feel. Perfect for a relaxing stay in any season. Especially during the rainy season, many water sports enthusiasts come here for training. Breakfast offers a wide selection of dishes. The restaurant is elegant and upscale. Convenient parking. A smoking room is located on the ground floor. A water dispenser is available.

Although the exterior and facilities feel a little old, the hotel, including the rooms, is very clean, the staff are very friendly, and I had a very relaxing stay. The hot spring water is also very thick, leaving my skin feeling smooth after bathing. The breakfast menu had so many options it was hard to choose. Even though it was summer vacation, I was able to stay at a very reasonable price. This is a hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.

This hotel has ocean-facing bedrooms with expansive views of the sea and Aoshima Island, great for catching sunrise. Other nice features include public baths and convenient coin laundry facilities.

The hotel is located in a rather remote location. There's a nearby (7 minute walk) train station: Kodomonokuni, you can get to Miyazaki from here in around 30 minutes, but keep in mind it's a small station so there are few trains and you must check the schedule. A bus can also take you to the city center in around 1 hour. The hotel is in front of a beach, it seems you can not swim here though there are some marine activities available, like surf lessons, snorkeling, etc. The hotel also provides 2 restaurants, 1 buffet, 1 unmanned cafe, an indoor pool (closed at the time of writing) and a spa. The spa is nice and well maintained. In the room (I had a Japanese one), you will find a genkan (where you take your shoes off) and then a tatami floor room with a traditional table and chairs, a TV, a tea set, A/C and humidifier. Around 18h30, the staff will come to set up the room for sleeping with futons. Also in the room a safe (mine was broken) and a mini fridge The bathroom is a standard bath unit (bath + shower), the toilets are a Japanese bidet. There is also a sink with some amenities (toothbrush, razor, etc). What was good: - public bath - breakfast buffet (TIP: you can ask for toppings to the omelet guy) - wifi is powerful What could be better: - A/C has poor performances and works strangely - noisy fridge - broken safe
