Great atmosphere, clean, with hospitable staff. Very affordable too. Looks a little old, compared to other hotels at this price tier. Located near a few pubs and clubs, might not be so suitable for kids.

Amazing value. I previously stayed at the Marriott Fairfield and Four Seasons and honestly they’re all pretty much the same as far as cleanliness, WiFi, and room temperature, which are what I look for the most. I was allowed early check in which was nice too. Location is amazing, walking steps from several restaurants and tourist attractions—you can be in the middle of Dotobori in 2 minutes walking. Amazing value for the price, I’ll stay here exclusively going forward. No issues with taxi pickup/dropoff with it being in a crowded area too.

Amazing location! Right near all the great restaurants and activities. The hotel itself was reasonably nice too! Rooms were quite spacious (for Japan standards), the beds were comfy, and they had a Smart TV with access to YouTube, Netflix, etc. The buffet breakfast had a pretty good spread. We’d almost certainly stay here again if we came back to Osaka

We Were Robbed While Sleeping — Holiday Inn Namba Took No Responsibility We arrived on July 12, 2025 and stayed at Holiday Inn Namba expecting a safe and comfortable experience — but we were robbed while sleeping in our room, and the hotel showed zero accountability and offered very little support (apart from the manager accompanying us to the police station to file a report). Valuables including cash, a watch, and a gold necklace were stolen while we were asleep. When we reported the incident, the hotel checked their system and simply said that no one had entered our room (except us at around 9:30 PM), so they refused to acknowledge that the theft even occurred. It felt like they were implying we had made it up. What’s even more alarming: * No CCTV in the hallways or elevators * No key cards for elevators — anyone from the street could access guest floors * But the day after the incident, we noticed that key card access had suddenly been activated for the elevators. When we asked the front desk about it, they said it had been under repair. How is this acceptable for an international hotel chain? We felt completely exposed, unsafe, and unsupported. The police were called but focused only on questioning our friends. My husband even offered to take a lie detector test, but no one took him seriously. The situation was made worse by the language barrier and the dismissive attitude of the hotel staff. This was an incredibly distressing and frustrating experience — not just because of the stolen items, but because of how the hotel failed to respond. I care deeply about the safety, privacy, and peace of mind of my family and friends. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to them. In my opinion, this hotel is simply not secure.
