We fly in and out of SA quite often. In the past, we’ve usually stayed at the Intercontinental (overpriced, but unbeatable for early flights) or the Holiday Inn in Sandton (nice, but a longer trip to the airport). This new Holiday Inn is a game-changer (it even still has that “new hotel” smell), and the location is superb, just a two-minute drive from the airport. The room was spacious, the mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable, breakfast was a pleasant surprise (far better than expected), and the staff were absolutely lovely. This will definitely be our go-to hotel for future trips.

The hotel has airport shuttle service every hour which is very convenient for guests. All employees were very helpful and receptive. The room is adequate and has necessary furnishings. There is refrigerator in the room, an electric jug, and coffee and tea supplies. They have daily housekeeping. The linens were fresh, very white and clean. The bathroom has clean tub and clean shower. I had a very good stay here. They allowed me to check in early for a fee as my flight arrived in the morning. Also allowed for late check out.

The best part is they offer free shuttle service from airport to hotel and hotel to airport. It runs almost every hour. Once you come out from the airport it’s just a short 1 min walk to the his terminal and you can see the free shuttle service. Room is basic, love that they use reusable shampoo but they forgot to refill it. You can hear noises from the corridor if you have noisy neighbours it’s hard to sleep.
