The hotel is in the city center, but the streets are not very safe at night. The staff is understanding and friendly, the rooms are clean and tidy. There are many options around to go out and eat at night. If you wish, you can also order food and drinks from outside the hotel.

Very nice, good value. Staff excellent, smiling receptionist. First class breakfast buffet, freshly cooked and hot. Fridge and safe in room. Only tiny gripe is lack of TV channels, though this appears to be common in a lot of hotels these days. Would definitely recommend.

The Holiday Inn Express Cape Town City Centre by IHG will be highly recommended by me . Thank you to the amazing staff from checking in to housekeeping and maintenance, the staff have been pleasant and so friendly, our first time in Cape town and I couldn't have chosen a better hotel, perfect location, easy to get around, close to many shops, restaurants loved the flee markets which was a walk away! the hotel is so clean, neat and affordable! I loved the breakfast every morning! compliments to the breakfast staff every morning they where on the ball! so efficient friendly and patient. we also had the most amazing, breathtaking view of table mountain from the mini gym! If I ever come back to cape town, I will only be staying at the Holiday Inn Express Cape Town City Centre by IHG!!

The hotel provided a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Its prime location in the city center made it extremely convenient to move around, with easy access to public transport, shopping areas, tourist attractions, and restaurants. This central positioning saved both travel time and effort, making sightseeing and business activities hassle-free. The property was well-maintained, and my overall experience was positive from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxed stay. The breakfast was another highlight, offering a good variety of dishes to cater to different tastes. Whether one preferred local flavors or continental options, there was plenty to choose from, and the food quality was consistently good. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for both leisure and business travelers who value convenience, comfort, and a satisfying dining experience. I would gladly choose it again on my next visit to the city.
