We had a terrific time at the resort. The staff at guest registration, service areas, as well as the management staff were all very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the lowest priced rooms which were average for a resort, though the showers were large and nice. The fitness center and spa were very clean and well stocked with plenty of equipment to use. Overall we were very satisfied!

Edit: make sure you check your bill when you check out. Was charged $150 per night for pet fee instead of $150 for the stay (this was refunded after a phone call but that should have never happened). Also added an undisclosed $25 fee for self parking per night, even though that policy was added 4 days before we checked in per the website update. The person said they could not do anything about that when I called. Soured an otherwise great visit. An epic location, classy place and people, a great place for family and dogs. Stayed four nights in the Junior Island Suite, room was clean and cool with 30+ feet of glass views of the pool, lagoon and beyond. Exceptionally large wraparound porch, waterfall shower, comfortable bed. No microwave, and a little bit smaller refrigerator, we used a cooler for bigger items. The building is older, as are the elevators, but it has its charm. The cafe serves great breakfast and has a well-stocked liquor store and snacks. The island time gift impressed me with their merch, high quality and not crazy prices. There are a several pools and hot tubs & and a saltwater lagoon. The adult pool and the kids pool are much less crowded than the main pool and both offer places for snacks and drinks. The Putt-Putt course could use some boundaries other than some raised grass, but it was in decent shape otherwise. We did not use any of the other sports facilities but they looked in good shape. Super dog friendly, dogs allowed to swim in the lagoon. I wish they had a dog park to let pups off the leash, but they're allowed most everywhere but the pools and inside restaurants. There are also outdoor water stations that were handy for the dog. The front desk provided bowls and clean up bags, shame on the guests that didn't even try. Great experience overall. We loved the bracelets as a key. We hope to be back soon!

First, do not get the Family “oasis” room, your view is literally garbage dumpsters and storage rooms. Second it’s hit or miss with decent AC, seems like it’s a common theme here to have good or bad AC with guests. Water in main building was warm not hot for first day. We switched room and paid for an upgraded villa. It was convenient because it was near the second pool. Unfortunately getting pool towels is impossible over there, and getting ahold of anyone from staff to get towels from is even more impossible. Floors in villa were filthy, made our feet as black as the mold in the showers. Prices are a rip off, I get it’s a resort, but after staying in several better resorts, these are the worst. Don’t eat at the on site restaurants unless you want to get ripped off. There are a lot of nearby restaurants that are cheaper. I recommend Ziggy & Mad Dogs if you want a good steak. On the positive side the main pool area was good, had a DJ everyday, pool was warm, servers were friendly and attentive. But we will definitely not return here, it’s worth checking out others resorts in the keys.
