The hotel is located approximately a 60-minute drive from Newcastle Airport (NTL). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

  • The welcome bottle of wine is available in your room on arrival, with a choice of white, red or sparkling. Hotel staff will call to confirm your choice prior to arrival.
  • Wine tasting at First Creek Wines must be booked in advance. Guests will be called to get a preferred time slot; pre-booking is required, either two weeks in advance or at time of booking. Guests will discover the Hunter Valley classics: Semillon, Chardonnay, Verdelho, Rose and Shiraz, topped off with a taste of the vineyards’ ever-popular Botanica Sparkling. Available seven days a week, 10am to 4pm.
  • Wine tasting at McGuigan or Tempus Two: Hotel will call the guest to get a preferred time slot; pre-booking is required, either two weeks in advance or at time of booking. The winery’s friendly and knowledgeable team will take guests through 6-7 carefully selected pours, featuring a mix of sparkling, white, and red wines, including exclusive cellar door releases.
