My wife and I had such a lovely trip. All the staff were amazing and so polite! Be it resting by the pool or having a drink in the bar, every touch point was met with exceptional quality! I also highly recommend visiting the spa, the massages are absolutely fantastic!

The staff are amazing, the cleanliness is second to none, and the facilities are fantastic. I visited for a week with my partner and friends and everyone was so impressed with the Mercure. We visited the gym, day spa, swim up bar, regular bar and the club lounge and all were faultless. The central location is perfect as you can walk to everything, but the hotel itself is very peaceful with lush gardens and clean pools. The breakfast buffet was too good- probably the freshest breakfast buffet I’ve experienced. If you are tempted to treat yourself book a private pool villa; you will not be disappointed. Thank you to all the staff for taking such great care of us and making my first ever visit to Thailand an absolute stand out holiday.

My stay at Grand Mercure Phuket Patong was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and the stylish ambiance of the hotel. The location is ideal—just a short walk to Patong Beach, Bangla Road, and lots of shopping and dining options, yet the hotel itself feels peaceful and private. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with a modern Thai touch. I especially loved the pool access room—it was such a treat to step right into the water from my terrace. The pool area is gorgeous, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the tropical vibes. Breakfast was a highlight of each morning. The buffet was extensive, with a great mix of Western and Asian dishes, fresh fruits, pastries, and live cooking stations. The staff were attentive and always smiling, which made the whole experience even better. What really stood out was the level of service—every staff member I interacted with was genuinely helpful and accommodating. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, with friends, or family, this hotel hits the mark in comfort, location, and hospitality. Highly recommend Grand Mercure Patong for a memorable, comfortable, and luxurious stay in Phuket!

We stayed with my wife in this hotel for 4 nights, the welcome and stuff were really nice and friendly, unfortunately when we went in the room there was a bad odor of mold and humidity, at the moment we didn't say anything, had a tour of the town and went back to sleep. We were waking up during the night having trouble breathing and we tried opening the door so we can get some clean, fresh air. The second day I called the front desk and complained about the room, they told me that they will change our room, but they would need 1 hour. We got in our new room which there was no odor, and there was also a dehumidifier. We went for a walk and came back later in the afternoon where there was a bad odor again, the dehumidifier was full and not working after three hours we were away, we drained the water from the machine and slept, woke up again during the night to empty the dehumidifier since we couldn't breathe. Next day we left early in the morning, since we had an all day trip to nearby islands, once we came back and got in our rooms the smell was even worse, but since we were tired, we emptied once more the dehumidifier and went to sleep. Next day we woke up coughing, and I went down and ask to speak with a manager, and explained our problem, they gave us a villa suite upgrade for half day since we were flying early next morning. That room was better than the other two but not comfortable to sleep because of the humidity. On our check out I asked for a discount on our bill for the inconvenience they caused, and told me that they gave me a better room for it, after discussing with them they agreed to give me a 380 baht discount out 5320 which I told them I was not happy about it, paid the remaining amount and left. I wouldn't recommend to stay there until they fix their room and have them inspected for humidity and mold.
