Update 27 August 2026, 2:00pm AEST: Following the Fiji Government’s introduction of the new 5% Tourism Services Tax (TST), First Landing Beach Resort wishes to provide clarification on how the tax will be applied across our properties from 1 September 2026.
The TST is a statutory Government tax applicable to qualifying tourism services provided from the effective date. It is separate from our contracted accommodation rates and is not a discretionary resort surcharge.
The 5% TST will also apply, where required, to qualifying tourism services purchased or consumed at the resort from 1 September 2026, including applicable incidental charges. The tax will be separately identified on the guest’s account or tax invoice.
