I recently brought my mother to the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for high tea. The experience was absolutely wonderful, and the service was phenomenal as always. On this visit, I unexpectedly faced a health challenge, and I cannot say enough about how the staff responded. From the concierge to the restaurant team to the valet, everyone went above and beyond to support us and ensure we were safe and cared for. They made every effort to ease the situation, and when I needed to leave suddenly, they acted quickly, kindly, and with such genuine concern. Their compassion and professionalism were outstanding, and I am truly grateful.

The hotel is beautiful and location is unmatched. The Lakeview rooms on the Gold floor (7) are beautiful and the services and staff are what you would expect in the finest hotels in the world. Fairmont Spa Therapists ( Matthew and Sanju) were amazing. Treatments (75 minute Botanical Serenity Renewal) absolutely relaxed us and distressed us and left us feeling rested and peaceful. Great welcoming staff, as well. Products used were excellent. Luxury hotel, great restaurants, and the friendliest, most courteous staff you could ask for.

This was the second stay at the hotel for my wife and me, having gone there with our kids in 2001. It was an amazing jewel then, and it still is now. We had a fantastic experience from the time we drove up until we left 2 days later. If Fairmont Gold is available, that is the way to go - unparalleled service, amenities, and personalized care. The staff is top notch, with every person making sure we were taken care of, and well, every step of the way. We went hiking right from the hotel, hit both tea houses, and enjoyed spectacular views all along the way. We went canoeing, which was easy, fun and super convenient. The fitness center is small for the hotel's size, but well-equipped. I know that they are opening a new Wellness Center any day now, so we missed out on that, but I'm sure it will only add to the superior experience.

The hotel was truly something special, unlike any place we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home with their warm greetings. The views from our room were simply stunning; we looked out over the bright blue lake surrounded by mountains that transformed with the colors of sunrise and sunset, creating a breathtaking backdrop that changed throughout the day. Our room was so cozy and comfortable, with nice bedding and big windows that let all that natural beauty in. It really set the tone for our stay, especially since we were there to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff took it up a notch by decorating our room to surprise us while we were at the spa—they even sent complimentary treats our way, which was such a sweet touch. One of the best parts of our trip was canoeing on the lake at sunrise. It was incredibly peaceful, gliding across the calm water and soaking in the gorgeous scenery all around us. We shared laughs and quiet moments, making it a memorable experience that feels like a dream now. In the afternoon, we went for a nice hike along the scenic trails, soaking up the sunshine and the fresh smell of the forest. The concierge made it so easy to plan our activities, recommending the best spots for both canoeing and hiking. All in all, our stay was unforgettable. The combination of stunning views, amazing service, and those thoughtful little touches made my wife's birthday feel really special. We’re already talking about coming back because we just can’t wait to experience all of that magic again!
