Some much we liked about this hotel and location. My wife loved the proximity to so many Indonesian and other asian restaurants in Suffolk street. A short walk to Darling Harbour and the Maritime museum. Easy airport train access walking to Town Hall or Museum stations. The cafe at ground level with outdoor seating. The room is modern, spacious and clean with innovative touches like complimentary water is recycled, refillable aluminium bottles.

I stayed at the hotel for 12 nights with my family of 4. Excellent location to get to everywhere in Sydney! The customer service was great, we arrived at 7am off a 23 hour flight and the guy at reception was fantastic. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay- Suzanne was so lovely both weekends, Lubi China and the team were fantastic, lovely chat and great service- thank you!! The rooms were super big, my only quibble is that there is not enough / any storage for a family of 4 staying for long periods of time so we literally lived out of a suitcase. I felt that the room could have been serviced better but can’t dock the service as everyone we spoke to / interacted with was amazing.

The location is excellent, with easy access to Darling Harbour and other central areas within walking distance. Breakfast is prepared and served to you, and the variety is varied, making it a different and delicious experience every time for four days. The coffee is delicious, and you can even make your own juice with your own ingredients. The water purifier in the lobby was also convenient. Turndown service is provided daily, but I don't think housekeeping is provided. Bathrobes aren't changed either. I almost lost my swimsuit, but I'd like to thank the receptionist who helped me find it. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

To be honest very disappointed, can’t believe it’s a IHG hotel. Firstly for the classical room I lived in the outline is quite empty, there’s even no couch or a tea table. The decoration of the room is not in good quality, many areas appear worn out ( doesn’t look as fancy as the photos on website at all).The most frustrating part is the sound insulation of the room, I was on level 4 and seemed the room beside the small road ( eventhough when I paced the booking I asked for a quiet room), and we could clearly hear the sound of car driving as well as neighbors’ talk in the corridor and opening and shutting doors, so the whole night me and my partner couldn’t sleep tight. Secondly, it’s the first time I met a proper hotel in Sydney doesn’t have chromecast or screen mirroring for the TV, the TV only provides some TV channels and very old movies. Apart from all that, the reception were very nice and friendly.
