I stayed at the hotel for 12 nights with my family of 4. Excellent location to get to everywhere in Sydney! The customer service was great, we arrived at 7am off a 23 hour flight and the guy at reception was fantastic. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay- Suzanne was so lovely both weekends, Lubi China and the team were fantastic, lovely chat and great service- thank you!! The rooms were super big, my only quibble is that there is not enough / any storage for a family of 4 staying for long periods of time so we literally lived out of a suitcase. I felt that the room could have been serviced better but can’t dock the service as everyone we spoke to / interacted with was amazing.

I recently stayed with big family at the Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour, and I want to praise the wonderful service from the staff, especially Tiara and Kate. From the moment I arrived, Tiara welcomed me with a warm smile and was very helpful with all my questions. Her friendly attitude made me feel at home. Tiara impressed me with her great customer service. She knew a lot about the hotel and local attractions, giving me fantastic recommendations that made my stay better. Both Tiara and Kate showed they truly care about the guests, making sure everyone feels valued. Their hard work and kindness reflect the high standards of the Crowne Plaza. I really appreciate what they did for me and hope the hotel recognizes their efforts. Thank you, Tiara and Kate, for making my stay so enjoyable!

We have enjoyed our stay very much at this great located hotel, near to Darling harbour. The hotel rooms were very nice, equipped with all necessary you need, very fresh and very comfortable beds! The restaurant has good variety of choices and modest price, very good service in both restaurant and reception! We do recommend the hotel!

I liked it and the hotel is nice, but it’s not great value for money. I expected more for CROWNE Positives: It’s close to the city, has a gym and outdoor pool, plus a restaurant and room service. Some rooms have bathtubs and are fully equipped with everything you need — they even have Dyson hairdryers and straighteners, which is a big plus. The bed is comfortable and they offer bathrobes. You also get two complimentary water bottles that you can refill from a station in the hallway. The “do not disturb” system is electronic, and the breakfast buffet is pretty good and fair for $40. What I didn’t like: You can still hear traffic noise in the room at night. Also, no one from reception helped me with my luggage or walked me to the room — which I found odd and a bit impolite, especially considering it’s a Crowne hotel, not a hostel. Room service charges an extra fee just to bring the food, plus $5 for the tray — way too much! What could be improved: The room lighting is harsh and can’t be adjusted. The shampoo is the same as the hand wash, so definitely bring your own. If you join to the membership you have a discount and it is free.
