Wonderful experience and great staff. Room was great. Hotel offers a 24 FREE shuttle from door 10 of terminal 1that is shared with Holiday Inn. This was convenient because we could catch trains to and from the airport. Huge savings!!!

I was a bit hesitant after reading recent reviews, but I am happy with my decision to stay here. Yes, the hotel is a bit old and worn but it is clean and welcoming. I found the shower stall quite spacious for Italy. Yes, there was a wait for the shuttle to collect me at the airport, but only 20 minutes which is reasonable since the shuttle stopped at both terminals. The staff was kind and respectful and helped me practice speaking Italian. Yes, there is a lot of noise from the airport. That is a natural consequence of being that close to airplanes and runways. Just pack earplugs.

Waited 45 minutes for an airport shuttle that is a 3 minute drive, despite messaging my flight times prior (twice) and calling them, twice. Was not great at 11:30pm seeing other airport hotel shuttles come and go, some even twice and asking oh, is your shuttle still not here yet? Make sure to keep this in mind when you book. However, room is very clean and comfy and the night manager is efficient and concise, so that made up all the stars that were lost due to an inefficient shuttle service. There is also a decent kettle, tea bags, hot chocolate and biscuits in the room. And you can access Netflix easily on the room tv which is a treat. Would recommend booking breakfast upon check-in as that is €10 instead of €15 the next morning. And of course, as soon as you manage to get to the hotel, organise and book all your required shuttles and timings. This is their whatsapp number and timetable for your reference (which is not easily found anywhere on their website so I got it in person) - if you aren’t able to call international numbers upon arrival like me.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ I Was Expecting Better From IHG I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Malpensa Airport and, unfortunately, it did not quite meet my expectations. The hotel itself feels quite dated and in need of general refurbishment. While the room was spacious and acceptable, the bathroom requires immediate attention — it looks old and not as clean as expected, particularly the shower cabin, where visible dirt has accumulated in the corners. The shower space is also surprisingly tight for an average-sized person. Room amenities could be improved as well. Basic items such as slippers, toothbrush, and toothpaste were missing and only available upon request at reception, which seemed unusual for a hotel of this category. Although the hotel claims that rooms are soundproof, this was unfortunately not the case. My room faced the airport runway and a nearby helicopter landing area, resulting in significant noise. When I asked to change rooms, I was informed the hotel was fully booked. On a positive note, the restaurant was excellent — the food was tasty, the atmosphere calm, and the staff were very polite and professional. Breakfast was also served in the same restaurant and was a pleasant experience. Overall, while there were some good aspects, I believe I could find a much better option for the same price in the area. In brief, I would not choose this Crowne Plaza again
