I stay at the Crowne Plaza in San Pedro regularly, and it’s hands down my favorite hotel in the area. The staff is always friendly and welcoming—they recognize me when I come back, which makes it feel a little like home away from home. The rooms are consistently clean, comfortable, and quiet, and I always sleep well here. The location is perfect if you’re catching a cruise or just want to be near the harbor. I love being able to walk around the waterfront after a long day. The parking is easy, and the shuttle service has always been reliable for me. What keeps me coming back, though, is the service. Whether it’s the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant staff, they go out of their way to make sure I’m taken care of. It’s not just a one-time thing—it’s every stay. That kind of consistency really makes a difference. If you’re in San Pedro often like I am, you’ll appreciate how dependable and comfortable this hotel is. I can’t recommend it enough.

Stayed here two nights pre-cruise in March. Room was just ok, a little dark for my taste. Location is good, we walked around quite a bit even though weather was awful. Rain and 45 degrees made us feel like we never left Seattle. Lots of places to eat & drink within walking distance, however we just wanted to do our dining at the on site restaurant. The staff were so great, most notably in the restaurant on site. Genka was an amazing server! Simply incredible service. Breakfast burger was very good. We will be heading back for another cruise in a few months and will definitely be staying at the Crowne Plaza San Pedro again!

The area around the hotel is very nice and clean, with the harbor nearby. Some rooms have great views of the harbor our room (830) did. However, it was also above the pool area, so if you choose to open your windows instead of using air conditioning, you’ll hear people in the pool until 10 p.m. If that might bother you, I recommend requesting a room on the opposite side of the hotel. The hotel itself is clean with no unpleasant smells. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I also appreciate that they’ve moved away from small bottles there’s no worry about running out of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, or hand soap. The room had a coffee pot and refrigerator, but no safe or microwave. There’s a restaurant and a small bar/lounge on-site. The staff was polite and helpful. I did have an issue with an amenity I requested that wasn’t provided, but the manager came to speak with us personally and resolved it. Parking is available, but they’ve recently switched to a new payment method. There was an overpayment issue, which we’re currently working to resolve. This is handled by a company that does business with the hotel, and hopefully, they will address any glitches soon. Overall, the location and cleanliness were excellent, and the staff was accommodating. Just be mindful of room location if you’re sensitive to noise from the pool area.

I would recommend you stay anywhere else, but this hotel. I have status, it was not recognized. I’m pretty sure that the front desk attendant was not sober. The room itself was moldy and looked like it was part of a true crime documentary. There were visible stains on the walls, on the wallpaper, on the fixtures, it was really laughable the amount of money that I paid versus the quality of the room. I also carried all of my bags in myself, no help from the staff. 0/5 The shuttle to the cruise port was efficient and the location is good if you’re cruising from this port.
