We stayed here pre-cruise for Royal Caribbean. No Airport Shuttle... We flew into Long Beach Airport and then expected to take a taxi since the hotel does not provide shuttle from the airport. We didn't see taxis, so we ordered an Uber and it cost about $50 and 30 minutes. The rooms... While it's an older building, it's been kept up. Beds were great, bathroom was decent. Really nothing to complain about. We even got to see our cruise ship come in from our bedroom window. Breakfast Buffet... This was a fantastic breakfast buffet for a hotel. Lots of options including some not so regular items like Black Beans and also Fried Rice. The chef even offered to make eggs to order, if preferred. Shuttle to Cruise... Make sure to let the front desk know ahead of time to book this. There is an extra fee but worth not beating up my luggage wheels walking the mile to the port. Overall I would stay here again and recommend this.

The area around the hotel is very nice and clean, with the harbor nearby. Some rooms have great views of the harbor our room (830) did. However, it was also above the pool area, so if you choose to open your windows instead of using air conditioning, you’ll hear people in the pool until 10 p.m. If that might bother you, I recommend requesting a room on the opposite side of the hotel. The hotel itself is clean with no unpleasant smells. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I also appreciate that they’ve moved away from small bottles there’s no worry about running out of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, or hand soap. The room had a coffee pot and refrigerator, but no safe or microwave. There’s a restaurant and a small bar/lounge on-site. The staff was polite and helpful. I did have an issue with an amenity I requested that wasn’t provided, but the manager came to speak with us personally and resolved it. Parking is available, but they’ve recently switched to a new payment method. There was an overpayment issue, which we’re currently working to resolve. This is handled by a company that does business with the hotel, and hopefully, they will address any glitches soon. Overall, the location and cleanliness were excellent, and the staff was accommodating. Just be mindful of room location if you’re sensitive to noise from the pool area.

This is a great location for catching a cruise. They have a lot of rooms, a nice pool and a restaurant on site. It's also within a 15-minute walk to the port, and they have shuttles for about $5 per person. The biggest issues are that the time have some issues. The desk chair faux leather is completely rubbed off and needs repair or replacement. The room was not all that clean. There was a hair on the toilet that I saw immediately when I walked in, and the corners have dark dirt. Also, the restaurant and bar are only open a limited time, the on site store is overpriced and didn't have what I needed, but thankfully there was another store within a 10 minute walk. I've stayed twice here already for the convenience to the port. It's definitely workable.

This was a great experience. Very large rooms (especially for the LA area), solid daily breakfast, VERY kind and attentive service, and good amenities. The rooms are dated, but very clean. The employees really set this location apart. Every person we interacted was kind, attentive, and very helpful. A very family friendly space nestled in a cute and safe neighborhood. Enjoyed our multi day stay!
