The hotel is in a great location, right by the sea and very close to Aqua Florya Mall and the aquarium. The view from the rooms and the outdoor areas is beautiful, especially at sunset. The hotel also has nice facilities like a pool, gym, and spa, which add to the experience. Service was professional and the staff were generally helpful and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with everything you’d expect from a 5 star hotel. On the downside, the prices are on the higher side, especially compared to other hotels in Istanbul. But if you’re looking for comfort, a good view, and convenience in Florya, it’s a solid choice. Overall a beautiful location, comfortable stay, great service, but a bit pricey.

Staying at the Crowne Plaza Florya in Istanbul was a seamless blend of comfort and sophistication. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warmth felt genuine, not rehearsed, making me feel more like a welcomed guest than just another check-in. Every interaction — from the front desk to the restaurant team — carried a quiet professionalism wrapped in an easy smile. The service was attentive without being intrusive, anticipating needs before they were spoken. In a city where East meets West, this hotel embodies that same harmony: refined yet inviting, efficient yet personal. A place where hospitality feels like an art form. Many thanks to Youssouf, Dilara, Hilal, , Funda,Kara and all staff is wellcoming and professional. See you again Istanbul, Florya and Crown Plaza. Much of love

Overall, my experience at the hotel was excellent. The cleanliness, ambiance, and overall presentation were exceptional. The hotel itself was beautiful, and I truly enjoyed my stay. The pool was very pleasant, and the breakfast each morning was delicious and satisfying. However, I would like to share two areas where there is room for improvement: 1. Restaurant Experience: While the setting and service were good, I found the quality of the food to be underwhelming, especially considering the price. I would rate the food quality around 5.5 out of 10, which I believe does not justify the high cost. 2. Salon Experience: I had my hair done at the hotel salon, and I want to commend the older gentleman who cut my hair—he did an excellent job. Additionally, the older lady who helped style my hair was also wonderful. Unfortunately, my experience with a younger staff member at the salon was not as positive. While she was blow-drying my hair, the heat was excessive to the point that my scalp was being burned. I expressed my discomfort several times and it was visibly apparent, yet she continued without adjusting. I’m unsure of her level of experience, but I would suggest that she not be assigned to direct customer service until further training is provided, as the experience was painful and distressing.

My family stayed in this hotel two times in the last two months. Overall, they must well train their receptionists as some are impolite, have an improper attitude, and never respect their guests, which is against the standards of a 5-stars hotel. Firstly, you should be aware and keep the receipts with you as they tried to charge us twice for our stay. Secondly, my family asked them to remove the mini bar. Although they removed everything including sodas and snacks, they wanted to charge them for the sodas and snacks, which is unfair and fraud. So take pictures and videos for what they remove to be in the safe side. Thirdly, we booked two premium rooms and they gave us rooms 2126 and 2114. The rooms are different in space and amenities. Room 2114 is much smaller and doesn’t have a sofa! Actually it looks like a standard one although it is premium. How come you pay the same price for the same category but in reality you get different rooms. We are very dissatisfied and definitely we are not coming back to this hotel. Lastly, the receptionists are not well trained to manage serious conversations with their guests. They have an improper attitude and impolite manner. Not to mention that they served another guest who skipped the line while I was taking the bad service. Is it just because he is Turkish? Again racism is an improper behavior in a 5 stars hotel. A quick update: we just talked to the supervisor and he justified why his colleague served the guest who skipped the line, “that guy was too tired!” If this justification comes from a supervisor who represents a 5 stars hotel, we should expect everything from the receptionists. This is why we will never come back to this hotel. Disappointed!
