I had an extremely amazing stay and I cannot thank Jordan at the front desk enough. She had a long line to deal with, with no assisstance and she handled it well. I went in after checking in and found a small issue and without hesitation she completely fixed it and switched my room and she alone made my stay worth it. The rooms are great, nice beds, great views. Overall a great place

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza, and overall it was a decent experience. The room was great—clean, comfortable, and with okay view. The housekeeping staff were absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in their work. On the other hand, the front desk attendants were not very welcoming. They came across as rude or uninterested, which set a disappointing tone at check-in. The pool area was nice with an amazing view when it was open, but sometimes the door was locked, which was frustrating. The gym was just okay—not bad, but could use some upgrades or more equipment. The bar had limited drink options, and the restaurant was average—not terrible, just nothing to rave about. If the front desk service improved and a few amenities were updated, this place could easily be a 4- or 5-star experience.

Absolutely the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. I highly recommend staying somewhere else. We stayed at the hotel for two nights and it was just a nightmare from the get go. When we arrived we parked on the fourth floor and rode the elevator down to check in. There was a man checking us in and a lady coworker checking in someone else. While checking in they barely spoke with the guest checking in and talked about how there is a situation about to happen for someone coming to check in but that the guest would be screwed and they just laughed which I thought was very unprofessional to say in front of guests checking in. He then asked if we parked already and I told him yes, he huffed and was like then here’s your parking card since you’re going to be coming and going. We then went to the elevator to go to our floor but the elevator wasn’t working. We couldn’t figure out what was happening and then another guest came in the elevator and said “oh if you are above a certain amount of floors then you have to scan your room card to select a floor”. I thanked the nice guy and wondered why the heck the front desk didn’t tell us this when we checked in but remembered again they were too worried about talking to themselves then help guests. When we got to our room it looked nice but then we went to the restroom. The bathroom was filthy and had hair on the walls and the shower. We didn’t complain because we were too exhausted from driving to care. Later in the evening when we took showers the water pressure was an absolute joke. It felt like you were being peed on but the sink pressure was way better which was crazy. Also our hot water didn’t work at all, the two nights we were there we took barely warm showers. This hotel is an absolute joke and you also have to pay $20/day when you are already paying for the hotel. Did I also mention that 1/4 elevators were working and the staff made fun of everyone having to pack in to be able to get to their rooms. We were on the 12th floor and had to constantly take their stairs which is super disgusting and not safe. There was trash all over the stairs and it smelt like piss, clearly they let anyone in there. Also the lack of lights in the stairway didn’t help. Thankfully we had our cellphone flashlights so we didn’t get hurt, plus there are ZERO cameras in the stairway. Anyways, this hotel is awful don’t stay at it.

The location is the only positive about this property. Please don’t waste your time or money. Staff is beyond rude and hung up in my face after requesting a late checkout which understandably can vary, however, I was put in the wrong room upon check in with no knowledge until I walked into the room so thought an extra forty five minutes was a reasonable request seeing as I had to prove that reservation was not what was rendered and forced to stay in the room that was not what I booked. I reserved a suite and that was not at all what I received. It is run down, not the cleanest, and only two elevators worked of the four while there was a large conference being held. Beyond inconvenient. I communicated this to corporate and received a call back from what I would assume was the hotel manager, however, was given an extension that was not recognized and was told to call back instead of a message taken and available times to communicate. These people should not be in hospitality. There are many other options in the downtown Dallas area that are hospitable, updated amenities, great location, cleaner, and competitive pricing. The Adolphus is amazing and across from the park and AT&T discovery district. Westin and Aloft are great as well. Dallas native.
