Celebrated my nieces 16th bday here. The hotel and rooms are nice and recently updated . They also have plenty gated parking on both sides . Parking is $15 per car. The check in was smooth , and staff were all super nice! The bar is open fairly late the food from the kitchen was all surprisingly very good! They have a nice snack area for quick grabs . The rooms were fresh and clean and we had a great view of the city. Location is good but not great for things in walking distance. Only small complaint was the indoor pool and weight room could use a little face lift. Over all we had a very nice stay !

Rooms were nice. Beds were comfortable. Make sure your room rate includes breakfast, which mine did, because they will try to charge you for breakfast even if your room rate included breakfast which we were told it was when we checked in. Coffee in the lobby would be nice instead of having to go to the restaurant. The only complaint about the trip. Restaurant staff were not friendly.

I like to give places the benefit of the doubt, and thought the reviews were being too critical. However, they were indeed correct. Stay away from this place. The only good thing is this places is relatively close to the American Airlines Center for events. I picked this location because we needed somewhere close to attend a concert. The location is walkable, if you don't mind homeless around the area. There was human poop outside of the hotel as well, so you're in for a treat if you do decide to walk to your event. Now, I will get started on what went wrong: 1. The line for check in took forever. There was only 2 people working, and only 2 parties in front of us, yet it took over 1 hour to check in. 2. They said parking was going to be coming out of the deposit, but my card statement showed that they were taking out an ADDITIONAL $20 each time we swiped the parking card. When I asked the front desk, they said it is another deposit. 3. I went on the actual Crowne Plaza Dallas Downtown website (not any 3rd party) and confirmed that my booking said premium queen with a sofa. However, our room did not have a sofa and the front desk said sometimes they put other hotels' pictures on their site so they don't have that room available. That made no sense at all and I believe it is false advertising 4. Do not bring any car larger than a Honda Fit into this parking structure. It is impossible to navigate without scraping mirrors or edges of your car. 5. Our room smelled like smoke despite it saying non-smoking. I was extremely concerned that I would lose the deposit, so I notified the hotel staff and asked for a different room. They just notified it on the computer, did not offer a new room or to clean. 6. Housekeeping ended up being extremely behind schedule. They came up to our room at 5 PM and said the night shift is coming soon. However, they did not, and we went 48 hours without a clean room and were resorting to buying our own toilet paper. (Front desk said they ran out of toilet paper and large towels). Someone then knocked on our door at 12 AM! Why would housekeeping be trying to clean at 12 AM! Extremely frustrating. If the hotel cannot adequately clean this hotel at capacity, then they should stop selling rooms. 7. One of us got locked out and went down to the front desk to get another key. Despite having the email booking confirmation + name on reservation, the female manager insisted that we show ID before issuing us a new card They were very rude and condescending when we explained our situation about how our wallet was upstairs in the room--and told us to wait for someone to let us upstairs in the elevator. I understand security, but this does not really solve the issue--if someone wanted to cause harm, they would also just wait for someone to let them up in the elevator as well. This made no sense, and I do not appreciate how rudely we were treated. At this point, I will most likely be quitting my IHG membership. This was my first time in Dallas, and I felt extremely unwelcome by this facility. I'm not too sure what the $75/night deposit was for as the room was smoky, staff rude, no housekeeping, and parking was an extra deposit. I did not do the breakfast plan so can't comment on that. Please do not stay here!

I was a guest as part of a group booking. The experience was deeply disappointing, frustrating, and unacceptable given the IHG brand's standards. Upon check-in, my room was in horrible condition. There were dirty towels, leaking faucets, and the bathtub was completely clogged, making it impossible to take a proper shower or bath. The situation only worsened throughout our group’s stay. My sister experienced bed bug bites, which is a serious health and sanitation concern. Another group member had items missing from their room, raising major safety concerns. My cousin was locked inside the bathroom three separate times due to a faulty door. When we initially reported it, we were not believed—until the manager herself became trapped and realized we were telling the truth. We were charged every single time we left the parking garage, despite being hotel guests. On top of that, the parking garage is in very poor condition—unsafe, disorganized, and not well-managed. We voiced all of these concerns to hotel staff, and while some listened, no meaningful resolution was offered. For the level of service we received—and the many issues that caused discomfort, inconvenience, and safety risks Please note that the hotel charges a daily tourism tax in addition to other applicable taxes and fees for each night of your stay. For parking, you will be charged each time you exit the gate. To avoid multiple charges, it's recommended to purchase a parking pass, which costs $36 per day. Unfortunately, there is no free parking available. This was not the experience we expected from a reputable IHG property, and I hope they will take immediate action to address these concerns.
