I’m a Diamond member of the IHG properties and used to stay at this property frequently (convenient location) until everything started going downhill. Internet was unreliable, room phone never worked. Housekeeping will know your door even if you have the DND sign. Because of what I do for a living sometimes I needed to check in either really late or really early and never they tried to accommodate my requests unless I paid the fees/extra night. The only staff member that really cared and helped me was Eddy. He always makes sure that my stay is somehow enjoyable. Seems that this property is out of business now and it doesn’t surprise me at all.

This review is about my experience in the past since the new owners took possession. The quality of everything has gone from five star down to one star nearly half the staff that’s been there over 20 years originally were fired and the new owners and executives have terrible customer service they do not know how to speak to guests or make them feel wanted when they stay at the hotel. I know this because I was a former employee. Maybe sometime soon that’s beautiful hotel will receive new ownership that understand customer service comes first and also the employees that do a great job every single day.

Had a reservation planned here for almost 3 months. When I show up on May 7, 2025 there's no cars anywhere, no open doors, nobody around. Called the listed number, nothing. I contacted IGH and they informed me the hotel was open and in good standing. I had made the reservation through a third party site who was thankfully able to transfer me to a different property. DO NOT COME HERE!

This hotel has bed bugs. I was itching last night and had a feeling there were bugs here due to how I was feeling and a previous review, but I did not find any until this morning. I wanted to give them a chance, but clearly, this problem has not been addressed. This was found in my bed. When I lay my head somewhere to rest, I expect a certain standard of cleanliness and health to be met. I documented this information. When I spoke to the front desk and requested a full refund, they refused. It's one thing to make a mistake, but it's completely unacceptable not to correct it, and that is why this comment is being made because this mistake was not corrected. This now will have to be brought up to health departments, and we are considering a lawsuit due to this inconvenience, which could have gone differently if it had been treated with urgency and like an important matter. I asked to speak to management. Management did not come, simply disappointed in the way everything was handled.
