Stayed here for 5 nights, and had an amazing stay! We booked a King Standard Room and it was perfect for my partner and I. The bed was big and had two single duvets so was great for two people with different sleeping habits! The location of the hotel was great - not far from Mitte and the city centre, and 5 minutes walk from Wittenbergplatz U-Bahn, and 8 minutes walk from two other stations. There were lots of shops and restaurants near. It's a quiet area at night so I was able to sleep well. Breakfast was included in our room deal, and it was a delicious buffet style breakfast with hot food (Nuremberg sausages, poultry meatballs, hash browns, tomatoes, eggs, beans), cereal, yoghurt and quark, granola, cheese and charcuterie, fruit, pastries and bread, plus various juices and types of hot drinks. The hotel had a pool, gym, saunas, and a spa - we swam two evenings and tried each of the three saunas. Was very well attended and looked after.

Quite decent and very central hotel. Many sights are in walking distance, but it's located in a street that is not too busy. The staff is amazing and the public areas are quite nice. When you get closer to the rooms everything get a little bit more dated. Some areas smell a bit old and dusty, but it's still clean and everything has a metropolitan vibe. The rooms are nice, but are a bit dated as well. There is not a lot of space to place your luggage and everything feels a bit cramped. This is dialed up to eleven in the shower that is so narrow, your elbows will touch the walls from time to time, if you're not build slim. The water pressure in the shower is not great, but it's manageable. There is a fridge in the room, that is quiet but weak. Some people in the reviews complained about noise in the rooms, but in our 6th floor room, facing the back, we enjoyed complete silence. Other reviewers praised the breakfast which is really good. Better than many German hotel breakfasts and worlds away from the abysmal quality that is served in the US. You get a decent selection of bread, fresh fruit, a live cooking station, good coffee and juice and many other choices. If you're a person that enjoys breakfast, this variety could and maybe should impact your choice of accomodation when visiting Berlin. The hotel bar is nice and the staff attentive. The bar food is less than mediocre, we had Burgers one night and they weren't terrible but considering the high price point quite disappointing. The quality reminded me of big fast food chains/cheap diners. To be fair the staff politely tried to manage my expectations when I expressed my wishes on how the meat should be cooked. Unfortunately one night it closed more than one hour early, which really is quite unfortunate, because we planned to be back in the hotel in time to end our day there and couldn't because we found it to be closed. Overall I'd definitely be back if I find a decent rate for the rooms. I think the 4.5 star rating of the hotel is a bit of a stretch, but if they step up their game in some of the mentioned areas this property could really shine.

Had a wonderful stay here. Arrived quite early, and was able to check in before 3pm. Had booked with points and had an upgrade to a junior suite. My Platinum Ambassador status was recognized during check in. Room was clean, spacious, with all the amenities included. Bar and restaurant reasonably priced and well stocked. Near train stations to reach all parts of city plus airport. All members of staff were friendly and helpful

The room was okay. But the toilet bowl was too small and low. It feels like it is for kids. Then, the shower area was so tiny and not built for taller people. The sink, we had a hard time turning it on or moving it to left and right as it is stiff. Also it gets loud at night when the big cars are passing by. Or the AC is also loud. So you'll choose between the loud AC or loud cars outside. The staff were really great. They are attentive. Especially during breakfast. They take away the empty plates and cups immediately. The parking is expensive which make sense as it is in the city centre. We parked across the hotel, which is €20 per day or €15 if you sign in online. There is also one, which is €2 per hour, which is right before Europacar.
