Could not have booked a better accommodation in terms of location and comfort. The gym and sauna are a modest size but very nice to have. I loved the design of the spaces and rooms, would be highly tempted to book again for my next stay in Lisbon.

Location of this hotel is excellent. I was a bit worried as it's on a street without car access but it is a 2-minute walk around the corner for easy drop-off and pick-up so we had no issues. Staff are wonderful and we were easily welcomed and our room was ready early. The room was lovely with comfortable beds and amenities (minus a shower issue that was corrected when reported to the front desk). The cloister in the center is a lovely indoor/outdoor space with bar seating which we enjoyed both nights of our stay for light drinks and snacks. This was a wonderful and relaxing stay in the heart of the city and was a nice respite when we needed a quiet break after the fast paced outdoor surrounding areas.

The hotel is located centrally with easy access to the majority of the main sites. It location also means that all the main means of public transport are just a few minutes away. The front desk were excellent in providing information on the different trams and buses. We booked a courtyard view room for the first week of October. The room size is dictated by the original convent cells - so smallish but well organised. The AC works well and needed to as it was particularly warm +27degree C most days. The staff in general but particularly on the front desk are very friendly and welcoming. We are planning to return next year to see all the major galleries which for reason unknown had all closed for renovation in September for up to a year.

This hotel goes above and beyond to please guests and honor the rich history of its location. Staying here is in itself a cultural experience. Everyday at 5PM the hotel hosts a ritual tea ceremony, guiding guests on a journey through time. Each tea presented is symbolic of the location’s history from its monastic roots to its brief stint as a local market and recent archeological discoveries. Upon breaking ground an expert team of archaeologists professional studied the site and its artifacts. The first floor contains some of their findings. How should you start your trip? With a drink at the Capítulo bar of course! The most historic spot on the property. It is here where history and modernity blend seamlessly, and one can marvel at the restored ruins that withstood the earthquake of 1755. The concierge team has a wealth of knowledge and directed us to some incredible experiences in Lisboa. Despite being fully booked, the staff made authentic efforts to connect with each guest and offer a personalized stay. Upon hearing about our anniversary we were spoiled with champagne, sweets, heartfelt cards from the concierge and food and beverage teams. This was a welcome surprise and nice touch that made us feel so special. The amenities were also divine. We utilized the sauna and pool on our trip, and enjoyed the open air courtyard by the fire pits in the evening. Definitely a place to remember and revisit one day!
