Pros: - Great location in Urangan, close to marina, and a number of restaurants/cafes. - Beautiful gardens, well maintained. - Room was right on the water, and it was great to hear the water lapping (at high tide) and no road traffic. Cons: - The rooms are quite dated which I didn't mind too much. What I did mind was the lack of maintenance. Things like black mould on the bathroom ceiling, broken shower door, dirty floors. - No air con in all rooms, just living and main. - No lifts, so if you're on the top floor, you will be climbing up and down three flights. - Tight car parks, no automatic doors. Overall, an okay stay if you like quiet and don't mind the few cons mentioned. Mantra or Oaks might be better, more 'modern' options to consider.

Stayed 2 nights when we went to Hervey Bay for whale watching. Paid a premium price for anything but a premium room. The only redeeming feature it had, was a fabulous outlook. The sunrises from the deck, were amazing. The room was badly in need of an update and old to the point that it didn't really feel clean. This is not a reflection on the cleaners by any means, who can only do so much with old decor. Crockery was not only mismatched, which in itself isn't a problem, but what was there, was scratched and chipped. Outdoor furniture in need of repair and shampoo/ conditioner containers needed replacing entirely. Would not recommend room 126, but we do believe some of the other units had been refurbished.

While being well located, the actual apartment was underwhelming. Photos advertised were of a more comfortable looking apartment. No fans in bathrooms meant smoke alarms were regularly going off after a shower. Beds needed a comforter or doona for winter. I think they need to advertise just how small the garage space is, as well as having furniture in it made in hard to park even an average size car in it. For someone who regularly visits the bay I would not rebook this apartment. In 2025 you would also expect wifi facilities when booking at a place like this
