Bella Mare Beachside Apartments offers a prime coastal location, a stone’s throw from the picturesque Greenmount and Coolangatta Beach as well as a short stroll to Rainbow Bay Beach and Tweed Heads. The hotel is a five-minute drive from Gold Coast Airport (OOL). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

  • Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Really happy we decided to stay at Bella Mare for a week. We were in a two storey apartment which had a wonderful view of the garden, pool and beach area. The apartment and amenities are a bit older and possibly need a bit of maintenance, but nothing to detract from the enjoyable experience. Everything is within easy walking distance. Car parking was simple. Only possible problem (noted before booking) is the stairs. So many stairs! Again, this did not detract from our enjoyment, probably a good thing to counteract the constant dining out! Unlike many places, they provide a gym but this gym is a bit scary when alone. In the basement, away from everything. Not a place I wanted to be for long. Lovely stay in beautiful Coolangatta. Will be back.

Initial contact with management was good. Location of appartments was perfect! However, the apartment was dated and not particularly well pointed:- There appeared to be an unpleasant smell in the cupboards which filtered throughout the apartment. Top floor apartments are not suitable for those that are physically challenged as one had to climb 4 flights of stairs. Advice to management regarding 5 day stay minimum:- Supplies for dishwasher and washing machine should be adequate for stay- we had 2 dishwasher tabs to wash dishes for 5 days!

Bellamare is in a great spot across from the beach, but our stay was disappointing. We were put in Unit 3, which was very noisy from road traffic and ongoing renovations directly above us — including early morning jackhammering. It’s hard to understand why we weren’t warned about this in advance. The unit itself was dated, basic, and had maintenance issues. After pushing the issue with reception, we were moved to a renovated Unit 17, which was a big improvement. However, service remained poor — simple requests like rubbish bags were ignored. The location is good, but communication and service need serious improvement. I’d recommend confirming you’re in a quiet, updated unit before booking.

The location was great, pool was nice and the people at the front desk was lovely. However, the room itself seemed to need a good wipe down. The walls of the toilet were a bit dirty, cup marks on the window sills in the kids room, dust layers on lights and the washing machine filters weren’t cleaned very well. The sandwich toaster was filthy when I went to use it and the tv speakers didn’t work overly well. The parking spaces were not great either unfortunately. Good supply of tea and coffee though and the pillows were comfortable. The extra bed was really good also.
