AVA Resort Cancun is located just steps from the beach and off the largest shopping promenade in Cancun. It also boasts its own man-made saltwater bay, perfect for kayaking, swimming and paddleboarding. The resort also organises tours to nearby hotspots including Cenote, Coba, Tulum and more (additional charge). The resort is located a 15-minute drive from Cancun International Airport (CUN). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

  • Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. The Legendary club dinner was absolutely amazing. Josue and Jose our waiter was so incredible. He made my daughter laugh and was so equally attentive to all of us (a group of 12). Erica came over to check on us on several occasions. Chef Omar is also attentive and personable. He made our experiences unique each time. Food in the South buffet was delicious and so well flavored each and every time we were there for dinner.

Beautiful resort! The atmosphere is like a combination of a resort, cruise and a hotel all in one. There’s entertainment, night club, theatre, laser tag, escape rooms, bowling and 14 different food options as well as dessert options (no sugar free options though) and it’s kid friendly. The staff is welcoming and attentive. Jorge at Veranda was the best! He made every effort to accommodate my dietary restrictions and did a great job. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!!

The reviews were mixed but I am so glad I went with my gut and booked AVA. The resort is so beautiful. The view from our room was great. So many food choices, and the food was so wonderful. At the restaurants I felt like I was at a 5-star restaurant. Didn't care for the yogurt but the ice cream was worth the walk. The service was great and everyone was so friendly. They offer quality liquor. Service at the pool was a little slow. Also avoid using the rain shower in the bathroom. It caused an overflow in our room. Our room was stocked daily. We enjoyed the spa while we were there. I would recommend the hydrotherapy followed by a massage. The gym was state of the art and me, and my daughter attended a Pilates class. The nightclub was large and had plenty of setting. I would recommend more than techno music, The absolute worst part of the trip was the sales pitch. Don't agree to go. They wasted over 4 hrs of our time. They refuse to take no for answer. You say no and they bring someone else over. I was kind, but they really push you to be rude. Overall, my family and I enjoyed the trip and would definitely return.

Let me preface this by saying I’ve stayed in 7+ resorts all throughout Mexico and have never once left a review because I have never felt the need to. Each resort had been wonderful in their own way. Upon arriving here - the employee got into a yelling match with our transportation driver from the airport. Upon walking into the hotel, everyone was getting greeted with drinks, nobody offered me or my family members anything. There are 2 buffets on opposite ends of the hotel well over .5 mile walk from one another. Every morning unless you were up bright and early you would have a 10-15 + minute wait as well as an even longer one just for fresh eggs or a crepe. I am a very patient person and the employees doing the cooking did work very hard but if you wanted any other type of eggs besides waiting in the line majority of the time they were out. Took laps around the buffet to even find cream cheese for bagels and lots of google translation. I got an 80 minute massage for 90+ US dollars where majority of the massage was spent rubbing lotion into my skin - not massaging. I also got a “shampoo + blow dry” for 90$ where soap was still left in my hair after the wash. Due to the language barrier translating was very difficult. Every restaurant besides the buffet must have a reservation - we weren’t not allowed to make more than 1 a day or the other would have to be canceled. Food services close around 10:30/11:00 pm. The rooms are supplied with 2 bags of chips, 2 fruit snacks, and 1 bag of what looks like peanuts but are never refilled after. You can hear every song word for word from the pool or any footsteps walking by at night from the rooms. If you are looking to be treated like family rather than a dollar sign at an all inclusive like any other ones I’ve ever been to - I’d look elsewhere.
