Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this resort! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding — every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and truly made us feel at home. The food was simply delicious, offering a variety of dishes that pleased everyone in our family. Each meal was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The serene spa experience was a true highlight — peaceful, rejuvenating, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The entire resort radiated tranquility and charm, making it the perfect place to unwind together. We are so grateful for the amazing service and memorable moments we shared here.

Stunning place. Everyone knows Maldives from it's beautiful turquoise water, but Amilla is full of greens as well! Astonishing small jungle where you can feel like on a "desert island". Water villa is well equipped and stuff provides with everything what's requested. All restaurants serve delicious food and in addition you can sign up for cooking class, where chef will guide you through the garden and show all kind of homegrown herbs.

Amilla Maldives is an absolutely stunning destination – it truly feels like heaven on earth. I had the pleasure of celebrating my wife’s 33rd birthday here, spending nearly a week in July. We stayed in the Sunset Water Pool Villa. 🏝️ Overall, the room is incredibly spacious. The king-sized bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in at any hotel or resort. There’s also a private pool with a breathtaking view of the sea, which was absolutely stunning and picture-perfect. 📸 We arrived during the monsoon season, and while the weather was unpredictable, we were fortunate that it was kind to us for most of our stay. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy a variety of activities, including snorkeling, diving, cycling, fishing, sailing, and exploring the island. 🏝️ We also adored how the villa is directly connected to the open sea by a small ladder at the back of the pool. Although we didn’t get to snorkel much because of the strong currents, the constant sound of the waves added a peaceful, soothing vibe to the whole experience 🌊 Amilla had about seven restaurants, each offering a range of different cuisines. With all due respect to the chefs, we found ourselves most drawn to the Japanese restaurant and Joe’s Pizza. The others were solid but just above average for us. For fun, we even gave each place a personal rating based on our own taste preference 🤤:- [1] 🇯🇵 Feeling Koi - 8/10 [2] 🇬🇷 Tessera - 6.5/10 [3] 🇮🇹 Barolo - 6.5/10 [4) 🇮🇳 East - 6.5/10 [5] 🍕 Joe's Pizza - 8/10 [6] 🥪 Fresh - 7/10 [7] 👑 Emperor Beach Club - 7/10 The daily activities within the resort were wholesome, engaging, and refreshing - keeping us entertained throughout our entire stay. We also appreciated how every member of the Amilla staff greeted us with a warm smile, no matter where we went 😊 Special shoutout to: 🥰 Sam for taking extremely good care of us and being so accomodating throughout our entire stay, you are the best and we miss you! 🥰 Dania for the great experience in the sea. Thank you for bringing us to see the magical Manta and for the wonderful diving session 🥰 Sotti for bringing us snorkelling and seeing more than 10 sea turtles - How lucky we were! 🥰🥰Dewi and Ann for the exceptional out-of-this-world body spa massage session which was unforgettable. A-Must-Try!!! 🥰Selina for the fun-DIY-exfoliation. Your laughter / chuckle during the face scrubbing is contagious haha 🥰Ratna for the zen-ness, and making us sweat and ache through your Yoga class 🥰Cheff Naff for showing us around the garden and how to dish up a Maldivian local cuisine 🥰Dewi for making my wife's bday dinner at the beach a memorable one. You were really kind! 🥰Amaan for taking good quality shots of us during the photo taking session around the island 🥰Ahmed for keeping the room clean and comfy every single day throughout our stay, and thank you for the lovely decoration set-up for my wife's bday [For Betterment 👍🏼] While it wasn’t a major concern for us at the time, the room's interior does feel a bit dated and could benefit from a refresh. There are also a few points I’d like to respectfully highlight for consideration in future improvements: [1] The bathroom and shower tiles showed signs of staining and mold, with visible cracks present. [2] It seems the air conditioning might need servicing. The room we stayed in didn’t cool down properly, even after we reached out to the staff for assistance on the second night. [3] Due to the bad weather, the patio deck umbrella was left leaning against the walls near the outdoor showers, which could potentially be a hazard. [4] Given the cost of staying at Amilla, it would be a thoughtful gesture to offer complimentary in-room snacks and drinks, rather than charging guests for them. [5] It might be worth considering a broader variety in the breakfast menu, as the options became quite repetitive after six days, especially with only one restaurant available. [6] It would be a great opportunity to enhance the quality and appearance of the life jackets provided in the villa.

Thank you to the Amilla team for an unforgettable holiday in the Maldives! ❤️ I’d give 4.5 stars if I could. The island is stunning: a perfect mix of peace and quiet, but also plenty to do if you want (many restaurants, tennis and football fields, multiple beaches, and activities). I can definitely recommend this place. Reasons why I can’t give a full five stars: -Our first evening was a disappointment as we were given a room full of bugs and with a broken modem, meaning no Wi-Fi or TV (all hotel services are handled through WhatsApp or the resort app, so Wi-Fi is must!). Thankfully we were given a new room the next day -thank you for that! -but for the first night we felt that this hotel was disappointment and even planned to leave early. - The service wasn’t quite five-star level- we had to ask for things multiple times, such as a solution to the Wi-Fi problem, pre-arranged buggy rides, or for the bikes we were given, which had flat tires. In the end, we just pumped them ourselves because we got tired of chasing staff about it. - Everything is extremely expensive, even by Maldivian standards. The transfer from the airport to the hotel costs over €1000 per person, and nearby luxury resorts offer flights for hundreds less. Food and activities were also very pricey for example, a group dolphin-watching boat trip (10 people total) cost about €500 for two people, and we didn’t see a single dolphin. It would have been fair to offer a partial refund or at least a chance to join again the next day. Lunch, for example a pizza was around €50, and 20 minutes on a jet ski cost €160. We often ordered the cheapest wine available, but when the bill came, the most expensive had been charged. We didn’t always have the energy to argue about it Special thanks for the excellent cleaning - the housekeeping staff cleaned the room perfectly and were very friendly. The restaurant staff were also fantastic, I’m annoyed I don’t remember their names, but the waiters were true stars of this resort! The nature and marine life on this island are also absolutely incredible.
