The staff & managers at this hotel are absolutely amazing! We had an issue with our 3rd party booking company. They made an error. But the staff & managers work above and beyond to work through the issue and took very good care of us and our family group & friends. I can not stress how amazing they were. Thank you guys for helping us and making our anniversary a trip to remember for all the good reasons. Highly recommend this hotel! Mahalo!

Wonderful place to stay if you like the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Great location, excellent service and all you need for an awesome vacation! A day trip to the North Shore is a must!! The pool is gorgeous, but limited space so rent the water loungers. The Swell bar was awesome. The yoga power bowl, rib lettuce wraps and the chicken tacos were so good. Dana and all of the staff there made it super fun. We liked the fact that as a hotel guest we could get 3 free beach rentals per room from Beach Candy down the street. It was super easy and convenient. The umbrellas are a must for the sun! A few things to note—it is a busy area so music went on most nights until 10pm to midnight or so from across the street. Also, the elevator on the back building was really slow! All in all, a wonderful trip! Thank you for such great service and accommodations!

The reason why I booked this hotel is because the infinity pool and the location is super close to the beach. I got a good deal on Oceanfront room even I wish I can get a higher floor (I was at 6th floor) Still seeing the top of palm trees but also seeing nice view of the beach and blue ocean. I didn't notice that this hotel is five stars hotel until I saw some of reviews that they mentioned it. I have mix feelings during stayed. Pro: - Location is very close to the beach just cross the street. - Great view especially high floor oceanfront. - Super convenient because the hotel close to everything, I'm from NYC so you can tell I use to live 24/7 and even they aren't open 24 hours like New York but they are some place nearby that open until late night. It has ABC store on the first floor, 2 restaurants, room service, pool, hot tube, spa, 24 hours gym, washroom etc. Outside not too far from the mall and lots of restaurants nearby. - Nice warm Japanese style of toilet, nice bathroom sink with big mirror and light. - Very nice and friendly housekeeper, bartender at the pool, food service people. Con: - Tiny bathroom, very awkward bathroom door, no bathtub like the advertised. Super small shower, cotton buds and shower cap have to be requested from the front desk. - Not so much impressive of front desk when I checked in. I didn't get a vibe of warm welcoming and lively unless robotic. No suggestion and he just pointed out on barcode and boring listed on the counter. During stay, I went to front desk asking for nice breakfast place nearby (walking distance) no one gave me the good answer. At the end when I check out, I got a text saying I can leave the room without noticing front desk, just text back but I went to front desk anyway to return room keys and the woman at the front desk had such a bad attitude and zero communication. All 3 times I went to front desk were unpresented and because other staff were super nice to me, I looked over. Overall: It was a present to stay at Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach most of the time. Location is wonderful with all amenities.

We stayed at this hotel for one night to celebrate our babymoon and birthday. Overall, the service was excellent, especially from the concierge team. They emailed me in advance to confirm my preferences and kindly accommodated my request for a higher, quieter room. They even assigned us a room with a partial ocean view, which was a lovely touch. The lobby was beautiful—clean, modern, and nicely renovated. Check-in was smooth, and I was able to get into my room as early as noon, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, the room itself didn’t quite meet my expectations. Some areas felt outdated, with rusty hardware and a noticeable musty smell that really threw me off. Considering the hotel is advertised as a five-star property, these details fell short of what I would expect. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable, with a supportive mattress and pillows. Parking: The hotel offers self-parking for $55 per night or valet service for $65. Be aware that the self-parking lot fills up quickly, and if there are no spaces available, you’ll have no choice but to use valet. Tip: If you don’t need daily housekeeping, you can opt out and receive a $15 daily credit to use toward dining at the hotel. The pool area was a highlight—an infinity pool with stunning ocean views. I recommend getting there early to grab a chair and umbrella. The hotel also has a fully equipped gym and a relaxing spa. If you get tired after a day of walking or shopping, I highly recommend booking a spa treatment—you can even use the $50 hotel credit toward it, which makes it a great value. Location: The hotel is at the quieter end of Kalakaua Avenue. I’ve stayed at a Hilton on the same street before, and this location was much less noisy at night. However, being at the end of the strip also means it’s not as convenient for walking to restaurants compared to hotels more centrally located. Beach: Access to the beach is very easy—just cross the street. The water is calm and great for snorkeling. If you’re planning to stay longer than three hours, I recommend renting a chair and umbrella at Queen’s Arbor (details are on the hotel website). A half-day rental is about $55.
