My Fiance and I just returned from the most incredible stay at Alila Seminyak. Highlights are the rooms, ocean view, breakfast, gym, Beach Bar and the stunning pools and ALL the crew working all over the hotel. Special THANK YOU to Neeve, Dewi and Jefrey who made our stay EXTRA special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a very lush, relaxing and stunning Bali holiday. Can not wait to return!!!

We stayed in Ocean View Suite 105 for six nights. It was our first time staying in Seminyak. It was also our first time visiting during the dry season! We've stayed in Kuta, Sanur, and Nusa Dua many times. We were able to see beautiful sunsets three out of the five days we stayed! Although it's called an ocean view room, you can't see the ocean from the room! The room is spacious, but there's no desk to put your laptop on! We were woken up by noise from the next room just after 2 a.m. This was a real pain! We didn't go anywhere and spent the whole day by the adult pool, tucking into Sea SALT for breakfast and dinner! The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a shame we couldn't see the ocean from our room! The Hyatt website didn't offer ocean-facing rooms, so we booked an ocean view suite, and now we're disappointed!

Absolutely terrible experience – would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Our stay was beyond disappointing, and I am demanding at least a 50% refund for the following reasons: 1. Horrible hygiene standards – we found dirty towels with lipstick stains on them, clearly used by someone else. I never used them, yet they were left in the room. 2. There were worms/insects in the bathroom and shower area. Completely unacceptable and disgusting. 3. My sister was injured due to broken tiles in the swimming pool area. She had to undergo surgery and get stitches in her foot – this was 100% the hotel’s fault due to negligence. 4. The balcony was full of insects, making it unusable. 5. Non-stop construction noise every single night. We were not informed about this in advance, and when we complained, the hotel staff denied it—even though we could clearly see and hear the construction right in front of us! This was a health hazard, an unsafe environment, and a complete lack of professionalism from hotel management. I strongly advise others to stay away from this property.
